Ross Ranch Casa One at a Working Vineyard

Sonoma and Napa have hundreds of wineries you can visit. Ross Ranch is one of the only ones you can actually stay at. Casa One puts you on a real, working vineyard and ranch with its own estate Cabernet, resident horses, cows, chickens and peacocks, and a working garden. Book a private tasting of the ranch's own wine, gather fresh eggs, then settle into three bedrooms plus a vintage Airstream, two baths and room for 8, with a pool (heating available for an additional daily fee), a new pickleball court and a Peloton equipped gym.

This home is proudly managed by LegacyRnR, your local Wine Country hospitality experts. We're here to make your stay effortless and unforgettable—from arrival to check-out.

Need transportation for wine tasting or group outings?
We offer two private, comfortable options:

When you book with LegacyRnR, you’re not just booking a home—you’re booking your entire Wine Country experience, curated by locals who care.

🍇 A Working Vineyard You Actually Get to Stay At

This is the part that makes Ross Ranch different from almost every other wine country rental: it's a working vineyard and ranch, actively farmed, not a property that happens to have a nice view of someone else's vines. The estate produces its own Cabernet, and private tastings of it can be arranged right on the property for your group, paired, if you'd like, with a farm to table chef's dinner cooked with vegetables and herbs pulled from the ranch's own garden.

Beyond the vines, it's a real working ranch: horses and cows graze the pasture, chickens and peacocks roam freely, and gathering the morning's fresh eggs has become one of the details past guests mention most. Kids and adults alike end up spending as much time with the animals and the garden as they do at the pool.

Because it's a working ranch, you'll see it in action during your stay: ranch employees come and go to care for the animals, tend the vines, and look after the grounds, and the owners may also be out working on the property.

Casa One has a Queen primary suite plus two more bedrooms (a Full and a Queen), a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas and its own laundry. The Airstream adds a fourth bedroom with a double bed. It's a fun, private spot for two with electricity, a fridge, a small dining table with a bench and a sink. It has no bathroom or kitchen, so its guests use Casa One's two bathrooms and kitchen.

Outside is where the property really sets itself apart. The vines are actively farmed, and the ranch's own estate Cabernet can be poured for your group at a private tasting arranged right here, not at a tasting room down the road. The garden supplies vegetables and herbs for a farm to table chef's dinner if you'd like one, and the resident animals (horses, cows, chickens, peacocks) are part of daily life on the property, not decoration. Then there's the resort side of things: a pool right next to the event barn (heating available for an additional daily fee), a brand new pickleball court, and a fully equipped standalone gym (two Peloton bikes, free weights, rowing machine, smart TV).

This is a working vineyard and ranch with resident animals and active farming. Ranch employees come and go to care for the animals and tend the vines, and the owners may also be around working on the ranch. Please treat the grounds, vines, and animals with respect and keep young guests supervised around the pasture.
The Airstream has electricity, a fridge, a small dining table with a bench, and a sink, but no private bathroom or kitchen. Guests staying there will use the two bathrooms and kitchen in Casa One.

Early check ins and late check outs are subject to availability, must be approved in writing in advance, and are charged at 50% of the nightly rate.

Guest Check In Form: After booking you will receive a link to our Guest App. Before arrival, the main guest completes a short check in form with their full name, email, phone, date of birth, a photo of a government ID (passport, ID card or driver's license), and an electronic signature on our rental agreement. Check in instructions and access details are sent only once the form is complete.
