We really enjoyed this property! We stayed with a group of 10 for a ladies' weekend and felt that it was a good home base. There were a few things that weren't 100%, but nothing that wouldn't have us staying there again. The bed situation was a little confusing in comparison to the listing with an extra mattress (fully ready for sleep!! - positive!) under one of the twins. This allowed our 10th person to sleep comfortably, but wasn't quite what we were expecting. Not a negative, but could have been described better in the listing. The "futon" in the master was too hard/uncomfortable for the 10th person so if you plan to use all of the space- use the floor mattress instead. I would 100% stay here again and it was worth the rate by far
We had a great stay at Gaetan's place in Windsor! The house is a fantastic place to get away with kids. The backyard was huge and full of space to play soccer or basketball or other games. The pool was fantastic, especially if you get the heated pool which was well worth the cost for us. I also appreciated that they had a pool cover which made us feel safer with our kids running around the backyard. We also loved the hot tub. The house had all the amenities we needed, kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of space. Gaetan also provided us with a pack n' play and high chair for our baby which was super helpful. The living room had tons of space to hang out, and the bedrooms were all comfortable as well. Having the washer and dryer was also great. We also found plenty to do nearby, including the Children's Museum and some nearby wineries. Overall, highly recommend Gaetan and his space in Windsor.
Upon arrival to the house, it was obvious that the pool and hot tub were dirty. Called Gaetan, who in my opinion was dismissive. He requested I send him pictures of the pool and hot tub. Only then would he send one of his "team members" out to visually inspect our concerns. Well, his team member was in total agreement and did an excellent job-spending over an hour there cleaning the pool and the hot tub. Gaetan stated that the pool and the hot tub were serviced the day before. Which clearly was untrue. So, we spent the first 2.5 hours of our stay managing the communication, sending pictures, and watching the cleaning of the pool and hot tub. Gaetan offered no apology. Oh, and just so you know-if you want to heat the pool during your stay-Gaetan quoted us $240/day. Total of $1200 for 5 nights. We passed. Otherwise, the house was clean and a great space for our large group. We did enjoy the patio area with large seating. Also had an excellent outside grill/kitchen.
